Primary Purpose:

Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification

High School Diploma / GED required

Valid Texas educational aide certificate*

*District will assist in obtaining

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics

Ability to work well with children

Ability to communicate effectively Proficient in both English and Spanish

Experience:

Experience working with children preferred
